DUNDALK ICE DOME IN HOUSE HOCKEY LEAGUE FAQ

 IIHA Irish Ice Hockey Association fully endorse the Ice Domes First ever Summer League to be held at the Dundalk Ice Dome starting in first week of June 08 till August
Full details and info packs will be available from the front office at the Ice Dome from Tuesday the 29th of April and hopefully this will answer all your questions.
Registration day will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk in May Date T.B.C.
It is our intention for all the people taking part for them to have fun over the Summer and enjoy your hockey .

Q. What if my team are not entering can i still play?
A. Yes on it’s our intention on registration day to have a reserve list and find all players a team.

Q. Can the Teams be Mixed i.e.  Men and Woman?
A. Yes Men and Woman can play in the league on the same team.

Q. Can we make up a new team name or do we have to use existing team names?
A. Yes you can make a new team but remember you will need a jersey with numbers on them .

Q. Can "A" League players play in the League?
A. Absolutely yes but non contact and not one whole team of them it would be our intention to spread them out around all the teams.

Q. I am a goalie looking for a team and I am finding very difficult to find one?
A. It’s great to see the surplus in goalies in the space of a year again on registration day we will find you a team.

Q. What age to you have to be to play?
A.16 years and over.

Q. Will my insurance with the IIHA cover me to play in the Ice Dome league.
A. No your IIHA insurance policy is only for the hockey season and the IIHA league. you will be offered a policy that will cover all your hockey and inline hockey for a full year.
