DUNDALK ICE DOME IN HOUSE HOCKEY LEAGUE

Dundalk Ice Dome is delighted to announce the launch of the inaugural summer recreational ice hockey league, which will be open to men/women aged 16 and over. The summer league will run between June and August 2008 and will conclude with a playoff tournament. 

* 75 Euro Entry fee per team
* Insurance to be comfirmed shortly
* Game time ice 200 Euro per game
* Game days will be Tuesday and Thursday 8pm till 10.30 two games per night
* Best player award after every game
* Non-checking
* Running-clock (3 x 20 minutes – no overtime)
* 2 Points for win 1 point for tie 0 points for losers 
* Referees/officials and game crew arranged by the Dundalk Ice Dome
* Each roster must have a minimum of 12 players up to 30 and 1 goalie 
* Player insurance options (with option to cover all your hockey activities for 12 months)
* Team & individual prizes and awards (prize fund sponsored by the Dundalk Ice Dome)
* Dedicated web-page with stats and results
* Playoff barbecue night on the roof garden of the 14 story high Crowne Plaza hotel
* Beer/food promotions during game nights
 
 
In the event that the league is over-subscribed, teams will be graded over an initial round of games and seeded in divisions.
